Australian batsman, Warner has been reinstated as Sunrisers captain in advance of the next version of the Indian Premier League.
David Warner had neglected the 2018 IPL T20 season in the aftermath of the infamous Sand paper Gate controversy wherein he has surpassed a one year banned by way of Cricket Australia.

In the four seasons, he has performed for SRH. Warner has tallied 562, 848, 642 and 692 runs — completing with the Orange Cap in 2015, 2017 and 2019. With 4,706 runs from 126 IPL games, the Australian opener is fourth in the listing of the tournament’s all-time run-getters, at the back of the Indian trio of Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma. Sunrisers will start their IPL 13 campaign in opposition to Mumbai Indians on April 1 on the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
